Vanguard accelerates the shift to clean mobility through hydrogen, battery and infrastructure innovation. They approached Ghost to create a brand style that could engage employees, customers and investors while clearly expressing their sustainable purpose.

Process
Our goal was to design a brand that felt clean, adaptable and future-proof. Drawing inspiration from the motion of the iconic British Rail logo and the natural form of a leaf, we created a distinctive graphic icon. This device now sits at the heart of the identity, symbolising both forward momentum and enviromental progress.
Alongside the icon, we built a fresh visual system that amplifies Vanguard’s environmental credentials while giving them the flexibility to adapt as they grow. The result is a brand that is confident, modern and ready for the future of sustainable transport.



Results
The new identity positions Vanguard as a credible, progressive force in clean mobility. With a strong visual symbol and adaptable design system, the brand now connects with stakeholders and supports their mission to think the way forward for sustainable transport.
