Small Spaces
Architectural design reviews accessible for all, even small builds.
A group of experts set out to make architectural design reviews more accessible, especially for smaller developments and home extensions, where planning can be slow and complex. They approached Ghost to help name, position and brand their new venture, ensuring it felt approachable while clearly focused on small-scale projects.

Process
Through workshops and collaboration, we shaped a brand personality built on accessibility, expertise and clarity. From this came the name Small Spaces — simple, memorable and true to the brand’s purpose.
Visually, we created a flexible identity using a geometric grid system inspired by the extensions and adaptations of buildings. This system gave the brand a modern, structured look while remaining adaptable across communications.

Results
The new brand gives Small Spaces the clarity and confidence to launch. With an accessible name, a flexible design system and a clear focus on small builds, they’re now positioned as the go-to review board for architects and homeowners seeking approvals faster and creating homes for life.
